Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.)-Cairo University, 2023. Summary: One hundred and ninety-one handball players from 14 teams playing in the elite division across Egypt participated in this study. Their ages ranged from 18 to 35 years. They were followed throughout the season and the injuries were recorded as they occurred in training and matches. Calculation of injury risks. Analysis of injury incidence indicated the injuries happened during competition are higher than those happened during training less injuries are predicted with stronger core muscles.Summary: شارك في هذه الدراسة مائة وواحد وتسعون لاعب كرة يد من 14 فريق يلعبون في دوري المحترفين في مصر تراوحت اعمارهم بين 18 و 35 سنة تمت متابعتهم طوال الموسم وسجلت الإصابات كما حدثت في التدريبات والمباريات تم حساب معدل الإصابة باستخدام الصيغ الموحدة واشار تحليل مدى حدوث الإصابة إلى أن الإصابات التى حدثت اثناء المنافسة أعلى من تلك التي حدثت اثناء التدريب ومن المتوقع حدوث اصابات اقل مع عضلات جذع اساسية أقوى.
