Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.)-Cairo University, 2024. Summary: This study aimed to study the impact of LSG on serum levels of plasma proteins after a short interval (3months). The study involved 50 patients who underwent sleeve gastrectomy, and their serum albumin, globulins and total proteins levels were measure before the surgery and three months after the surgery.The results of the study showed that all plasma proteins decreased 3months after LSG. Summary: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التحقق من تاثير تكميم المعدة على مستويات البروتينات فى الدم فى اول ثلاثة اشهر بعد الجراحة للمرضى الذين يخضعون لجراحة تكميم المعدة شملت الدراسة 50 مريضاً خضعوا لجراحة تكميم المعدة، وتم قياس مستويات الالبومين والجلوبيولينات والبروتينات الكلية فى الدم قبل الجراحة وبعد مرور ثلاثة اشهرعلى اجراء الجراحة. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة انخفاضا فى مستويات الالبومين والجلوبيولينات والبروتينات الكلية فى الدم.
