هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر تطوير قطاع التعليم الفني والمهني على النمو الإقتصادي في نيجيريا وذلك من خلال تسليط الضوء على على قطاع التعليم الفني والمهني وتقييم هذا الأثر على النمو الإقتصادي في نيجيريا.
تم تقسيم الدراسة إلى مبحث تمهيدي، وثلاثة فصول رئيسية، يتفرع عن كل منها، عدد من المباحث والمطالب الفرعية، ومبحث ختامي، حيث عنى المبحث التمهيدي بالإطار النظري لمفهوم التعليم الفني والمهني وأنواعه وأهميته، ومدى علاقة التعليم الفني والمهني بالنمو الإقتصادي.
عرض الفصل الأول: خطة تطوير التعليم الفني والمهني خلال الفترة (2000-2010)، وملامح وأهداف تلك الخطة، إلى جانب الخطة الإستراتيجية لتطوير التعليم خلال الفترة (2011-2015) ومحاورها الستة، فضلاًعن خطط تطوير التعليم الفني والمهني وفقاً لأهداف أجندة التنمية المستدامة 2030.
وعرض الفصل الثاني: حالة التعليم الفني والمهني في نيجيريا قبل عام 2001، سواء كان ذلك قبل الإستعمار أو خلاله أو بعده، فضلاًعن حالة التعليم الفني والمهني في نيجيريا بعد عام2001 في ظل السياسات المختلفة وفيما يتعلق بطرق التعليم وأدواته وجودة أعضاء هيئة التدريس.
وقام الفصل الثالث: بقياس أثر التعليم الفني والمهني في النمو الإقتصادي في نيجيريا مع عرض وتحليل نتائج القياس، فضلاًعن التعرف على دور التعليم الفني والمهني في بعض مؤشرات الإقتصاد الكلي، وأخيرَا تناول المبحث الختامي نتائج الدراسة ورؤية مستقبلية، وتم عرض النتائج، وشملت الدراسة على قائمة الجداول، وقائمة الأشكال البيانية، وقائمة المراجع.

This study aimed to identify the impact of developing the technical and vocational education sector on economic growth in Nigeria by shedding light on the technical and vocational education sector and evaluating this impact on economic growth in Nigeria.
The study was divided into an introductory topic, and three main chapters, each of which branches out with a number of sub-questions and demands, and a concluding topic.
Presentation of the first chapter: the technical and vocational education development plan during the period (2000-2010), the features and objectives of that plan, as well as the strategic plan for the development of education during the period (2011-2015) and its six axes, as well as plans for the development of technical and vocational education in accordance with the goals of the sustainable development agenda 2030.
The second chapter presented: the state of technical and vocational education in Nigeria before 2001, whether before, during or after colonialism, as well as the state of technical and vocational education in Nigeria after 2001 in light of the various policies and with regard to education methods, tools and the quality of the teaching staff.
The third chapter: measured the impact of technical and vocational education on economic growth in Nigeria with presentation and analysis of measurement results, as well as identifying the role of technical and vocational education in some macroeconomic indicators. Finally, the concluding section dealt with the results of the study and a future vision. List of tables, list of charts, and list of references
