Purpose Chronic lateral epicondylitis, characterized by persistent pain and functional
limitations in the lateral aspect of the elbow, poses a significant challenge in
rehabilitation. Objective This study aimed to investigate and compare the effectiveness
of Mulligan Mobilization with movement and instrument assisted soft tissue
mobilization on pain, range of motion, hand grip strength, and upper limb disability in
individuals diagnosed with chronic lateral epicondylitis. Methods Sixty participants
diagnosed with chronic lateral epicondylitis, aged 18 to 80 years, were randomly
assigned to three groups Group A Mulligan mobilization with movement (MWM) ,
Group B Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and Group C (control,
receiving conventional treatment). The interventions were administered three times
weekly for four weeks, in addition to the standard treatment protocol. Assessments
included Visual Analogue Scale for pain intensity, Universal Goniometer for wrist
ROM, Digital Hand-Held Dynamometer for hand grip strength, and the Quick DASH
questionnaire for hand activities assessment. The study was conducted at AL-Qenayat
Central Hospital in El-Sharqia between March 25, 2023, and June 30, 2023. Results
Statistically significant differences were observed in the effectiveness of Mulligan
Mobilization with Movement compared to Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue
Mobilization for pain intensity, range of motion, hand grip strength, and hand function
in the treatment of chronic lateral epicondylitis (P<0.05). Conclusion The findings of
this study suggest that Mulligan Mobilization with Movement may be more beneficial
than Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization in addressing pain, improving range
of motion, enhancing hand grip strength, and reducing upper limb disability in
individuals with chronic lateral epicondylitis.

الخلفية التهاب اللقيمة الوحشي المزمن، الذي يتميز بالألم المستمر والقيود الوظيفية في الجانب الوحشي للمرفق، يشكل تحديا كبيرا في إعادة التأهيل.الهدف تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى دراسة ومقارنة فعالية تعبئة موليجان مع الحركة وتعبئة الأنسجة الرخوة بمساعدة الحركة على الألم، ونطاق الحركة، وقوة قبضة اليد، وإعاقة الطرف العلوي لدى الأفراد الذين تم تشخيص إصابتهم بالتهاب اللقيمة الوحشي المزمن. الطرق تم تقسيم ستين مشاركًا تم تشخيص إصابتهم بالتهاب اللقيمة الوحشي المزمن، الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 18 إلى 80 عامًا، بشكل عشوائي إلى ثلاث مجموعات المجموعة أ (MWM)، المجموعة ب (IASTM)، والمجموعة ج (التحكم، تلقي العلاج التقليدي). كانت تدار التدخلات ثلاث مرات أسبوعيا لمدة أربعة أسابيع، بالإضافة إلى بروتوكول العلاج القياسي. وشملت التقييمات ، والمقياس التناظري البصري لشدة الألم، ومقياس الزوايا العالمي لذاكرة القراءة فقط للمعصم، ومقياس الدينامومتر الرقمي المحمول باليد لقوة قبضة اليد، واستبيان DASH السريع لتقييم أنشطة اليد. أجريت الدراسة في مستشفى القنايات المركزي بمحافظه الشرقيه في الفترة من 25 مارس 2023 إلى 30 يونيو 2023.النتائج لوحظت فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في فعالية تعبئة موليجان مع الحركة (MWM) مقارنة بتعبئة الأنسجة الرخوة بمساعدة الأجهزة (IASTM) من حيث شدة الألم، ونطاق الحركة، وقوة قبضة اليد، ووظيفة اليد في علاج التهاب اللقيمة الوحشي المزمن. (ف <0.05). الاستنتاج تشير نتائج هذه الدراسة إلى أن تعبئة موليجان بالحركة (MWM) قد تكون أكثر فائدة من تعبئة الأنسجة الرخوة بمساعدة الأجهزة (IASTM) في معالجة الألم، وتحسين نطاق الحركة، وتعزيز قوة قبضة اليد، وتقليل إعاقة الطرف العلوي لدى الأفراد. مع التهاب اللقيمة الوحشي المزمن. هناك ما يبرر إجراء مزيد من البحوث للتحقق من صحة وتعميم هذه النتائج.
