تنبع الأهمية الكبرى لدراسة رؤية هيجل حول الإسلام من كونها رؤية تمتلك نفوذًا متزايدًا في عقلنة سيادة الغرب على العالم. فلم ينظر للدين الإسلامي بوصفه خاتم الأديان. لذا فصورة الإسلام تبدو إشكالًا حقيقيًا داخل فلسفة هيجل. أن صورة العرب والإسلام عند هيجل في حاجة إلى قراءة جديدة لتوضيح مكانة الإسلام في ذلك التصور الغربي، بوصفه أحد أهم عوامل التأثير على التصورات الغربية الأوروبية ونظرتها التي تنطوى على العنصرية، والسيادة، والتعالى على العالم العربي والإسلامي. لذلك تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل ونقد المنظور الهيجلي حول الإسلام، من خلال قراءة موقف هيجل تجاه الإسلام من رؤى متعددة، أي الإسلام كدين، وتاريخ، وفلسفة، وفن بوصفها المظاهر التي يتجلى فيها الروح المطلق من أجل وعي ذاته. وفي دراستنا سنحاول تقديم قراءة جديدة من خلال قراءة مختلف الأعمال الهيجلية لنعرف هل موقف هيجل عن الإسلام موقفا سلبيا تمامًا أم موقفًا إيجابيًا لذا ستحاول الدراسة الوقوف على تأويل متسق داخليَّا لرؤية هيجل عن الإسلام.

The importance of the views of Hegel on Islam stems from the fact that it had considerable influence in rationalizing the West’s dominance over the world, He didn’t see Islam as the last of religions. So the vision of Islam appears to be real problematic within Hegel's system. As Hegel’s point of view of Arabs and Islam needs a new reading to clarify the place of Islam in western perception, and its racist, Eurocentric and Islamophobic views of Arabs and the Islamic world. Therefore, this study aims to analyze and criticize Hegel perspective about Islam, through a reading of Hegel's attitude towards Islam from multiple perspectives, i.e. Islam as religion, history, philosophy, and as art as through those three manifestations of the absolute spirit, man realizes the absolute. So that in our study, we will try to represent a new reading of Hegel's view about Islam, by reading his works to know whether Hegel's views on Islam are completely negative or has some positive component? So this study will attempt to find a consistent interpretation of Hegel's view of Islam.
