"الضفدع" هي رواية للكاتب الصيني الشهير مو يان تعكس بعمق الصورة الاجتماعية والثقافية لسياسة تنظيم الأسرة في الصين. حازت هذة الرواية على جائزة ماو دون للأدب في عام ٢٠١١ وجائزة نوبل للأدب في عام٢٠١٢، وتعتبر واحدة من الأعمال الأدبية القليلة التي أثارت اهتمام القراء حيث فتحت باب النقاش العام حول سياسة تنظيم الأسرة، فهي ذات قيمة أدبية عالية وأهمية واقعية مؤثرة. يسلط البحث الضوء على رصد تطورات سياسة تنظيم الأسرة في الصين ويجري تحليلًا عميقًا لصورة الشخصيات المختلفة وعادات وتقاليد المجتمع التي أبرزتها الرواية، ويستخلص الآثار الإيجابية والسلبية التي خلفتها سياسة تنظيم الأسرة على الصين والشعب من الواقع ومن منظور الرواية، كما يتضمن البحث تقييمًا لوضع السياسة السكانية في مصر، مؤكدًا على أهمية تبادل التجارب بين الصين ومصر في مجال السياسة السكانية.

"The Frog" is a novel by the famous Chinese writer Mo Yan that deeply reflects the social and cultural image of family planning policy in China. This novel won the Mao Dun Prize for Literature in 2011 and the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2012. It is one of the few literary works that has aroused the interest of readers and opened up public debate on family planning policy, with high literary value and poignant factual significance. The research sheds light on the development of family planning policy in China and conducts an in-depth analysis of the various characters and societal customs and traditions highlighted in the novel. It extracts the positive and negative Effects of the family planning policy on China and the people from reality and from the perspective of the novel. The research also includes an assessment of the population policy situation in Egypt, stressing the importance of exchanging experiences between China and Egypt in the field of population policy.
