Chronic osteomyelitis is a challenging disease and very expensive to treat besides being recurrent. Chronic osteomyelitis recurrence is now highly suggested to be related to the intracellular infection caused by the staphylococcus aureus (S.A.). Nanoparticles (NPs) offer several advantages. Ciprofloxacin (CP) is a second generation fluroquinolone antibiotic with a broad spectrum against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria
