The aim of our study is to assess the left and right ventricular systolic and diastolic functions in COPD patients using the conventional echocardiographic parameters and tissue Dopller imaging , to correlate the left ventricular diastolic function with the resting heart rate and to correlate the left and right ventricular systolic and diastolic functions with the severity of the COPD
