تهتم الرسالة بدراسة وتحليل ثقافة السلام لدى الأطفال المصريين في مرحلة الطفولة المتوسطةوالتي تمتد من سن السادسة إلى الحادية عشر، وتم اختيار هذه المرحلة العمرية لأهميتها في بناء شخصية الفرد وتكوين ميوله. وتقوم الرسالة بتحليل مضمون أحد أهم وسائل التنشئة والتي تتمثل في المناهج الدراسية المقررة على الأطفال في تلك الفترة، وقياس مدى احتواء سلوكياتهم أيضا على القيم المكونة لثقافة السلام، وذلك من خلال تحليل مكونات أربع قيم أساسية لثقافة السلام وتتمثل في ”قيمة احترام الآخر” و”قيمة رعاية وحماية البيئة ومكوناتها” و”قيمة التعاون والتضامن” و”قيمة السلام ونبذ العنف”.
The importance of the study summered in the importance of the subject which is "the culture of eace", which has an importance in the international organizations, also the importance of studding the children category in the period of middle childhood, and treating them in the concept and values of the peace of culture specially in this critical time and the challenges which face the Egyptian society. The thesis try to study to what extent the Egyptian child has this values culture through the analysis of the curriculum and the behavior of them in the school, and with class mate.The practical importance which is the true will of the political system; after the revolution of 25 Jan. 2011; to develop the educational system, and the curriculum which applied on the Egyptian children.
