It is associated with inflammation, proliferation, deposition of extracellular matrix, oxidative stress, necrosis and destruction of the normal architecture of the organ. This pathway ends with cirrhosis then liver cancer or liver failure. The present study was constructed to investigate the possible hepatoprotective effect of two natural products, lactoferrin (LCT) and resveratrol (RVT), on liver fibrosis induced by thioacetamide (TAA) in male albino Wistar rats
