This work is concerned with the determination of some antidiabetic agents of three different classes. Ipragliflozin, Ertugliflozin and Dapagliflozin were selected from the class of Sodium-Glucose cotransporter-II inhibitors. Sitagliptin and Saxagliptin were chosen from the class of dipeptidyl peptidase-IV inhibitors and Metformin was selected from the class of biguanides. The selected drugs have been analyzed using electrochemical, chromatographic and spectrophotometric methods. First, electrochemical methods were employed for the analysis of Ipragliflozin and Sitagliptin. Ipragliflozin was determined using differential pulse voltammetry that depends on the oxidation of sulfur atom. The method was applied by scanning the potential over range of 0 to 2.8 V by using a scan rate of 10 mV/s versus the reference electrode Ag/Ag+ in non-aqueous medium while using glassy carbon electrode as an indicator electrode. The method was then successfully applied for the analysis of Ipragliflozin in spiked human plasma
