This study was carried on twelve patients suffering from signs and symptoms of ID of the TMJ.They were 10 females and 2 males with age ranging from 18 to 36 years.It was performed to correlate between pre - operative MR images findings and post - discectomy histopathological examination of the TMJ dise in patients suffering from chronic closed lock of the TMJ
