الأطروحة تركز على تطبيق الذكاء الاصطناعي في تحسين شكل وتخطيط المباني أثناء مرحلة التصميم. تشمل الطريقة البحثية والأساليب المستخدمة في الدراسة بحث العلوم التصميمية، وتعلّم الآلة والتعلّم العميق، والتحسين المتعدد الأهداف، والمحاكاة والتصور، واختبار المستخدم، ودراسات الحالة. وتهدف الدراسة إلى تطوير وتقييم نظام محسن لشكل وتخطيط المباني يعمل بالذكاء الاصطناعي يمكنه تحسين عملية التصميم وتعزيز الاستدامة والكفاءة الطاقوية وتلبية احتياجات وتفضيلات مستخدمي المباني. و توفر نتائج الدراسة رؤى وتوصيات للمهندسين المعماريين والمهندسين والمتخصصين في المباني حول كيفية تطبيق شكل وتخطيط المباني بالذكاء الاصطناعي في تصميماتهم.
