تسعى الدراسة الحالية إلى "رصد وتحليل الأخبار الموجودة على الصفحتين الرسميتين لوزارة الداخلية على موقعي الفيسبوك وأكس التي تتناول القضايا الأمنية من حيث الشكل والمضمون، كما تسعى إلى رصد وتوصيف مدى اعتماد الشباب المصري على الصفحتين الرسميتين لوزارة الداخلية على موقعي الفيسبوك وتويتر في الحصول على المعلومات حول القضايا الأمنية, والوقوف على التأثيرات المعرفية والوجدانية والسلوكية لهذا الاعتماد, وتفسير ذلك في ضوء اتجاهات الشباب نحو أداء المؤسسة الشرطية، بالاعتماد على منهج المسح من خلال مسح عينة من منشورات وتغريدات وزارة الداخلية على موقعي فيس بوك وأكس إضافة إلى مسح عينة من الشباب المصري قوامها 400 مفردة، ومن خلال الاعتماد على اداتي تحليل المضمون والاستقصاء، توصلت الدراسة إلى:
1. جاء موضوع الجهود التي تبذلها وزارة الداخلية لمداهمة الخارجين عن القانون في الترتيب الأول من الموضوعات المعروضة على صفحات وزارة الداخلية على شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي بنسبة 44.3%، يليها الأنشطة الاجتماعية والإنسانية بنسبة 15.4% ثم دور الوزارة في مجال الأمن الاقتصادي بنسبة 13.3%.
1. يعتقد نسبة 41.5% من المبحوثين أن وزارة الداخلية تقوم بدور في التوعية الأمنية عبر صفحاتها على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، بينما يرى نسبة 37.5% انها تقوم بذلك إلى حد ما، وأخيرا يرى نسبة 21% منهم انها لا تقوم بهذا الدور.
2. جاءت عبارة " تسهم في معرفتي بالموضوعات الأمنية " في مقدمة تقييم المبحوثين لدور الصفحات الأمنية على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في تعزيز الوعي الأمني بوزن نسبي 80.99، يليها عبارة "التأثير على اتجاهات الشباب" بوزن نسبي 80.91، يليها عبارة "تسمح بالمشاركة بالآراء والتعليقات" بوزن نسبي 80.41.
3. توجد علاقة ارتباطية ذات دلالة احصائية بين كثافة استخدام المبحوثين لصفحات وزارة الداخلية على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي وتقيمهم لدور تلك الصفحات في تعزيز الوعي الأمني لديهم

The current study seeks to "monitor and analyze the news on the official pages of the Ministry of Interior on Facebook and Twitter that deal with security issues in terms of form and content. It also seeks to monitor and describe the extent to which Egyptian youth rely on the official pages of the Ministry of Interior on Facebook and Twitter to obtain information on security issues, and to identify the cognitive, emotional and behavioral effects of this reliance, and to interpret this in light of youth trends towards the performance of the police institution, relying on the survey method by surveying a sample of the Ministry of Interior's posts and tweets on Facebook and Twitter, in addition to surveying a sample of Egyptian youth consisting of 400 individuals. By relying on the tools of content analysis and investigation, the study reached the following:
- The topic of the efforts made by the Ministry of Interior to raid outlaws came in first place among the topics presented on the pages of the Ministry of Interior on social media networks at a rate of 44.3%, followed by social and humanitarian activities at a rate of 15.4%, then the role of the Ministry in the field of economic security at a rate of 13.3%.
- 41.5% believe Of the respondents, the Ministry of Interior plays a role in security awareness through its pages on social media, while 37.5% believe that it does so to some extent, and finally 21% believe that it does not play this role.
- The phrase "It contributes to my knowledge of security issues" came at the forefront of the respondents' evaluation of the role of security pages on social media in enhancing security awareness with a relative weight of 80.99, followed by the phrase "Influencing youth trends" with a relative weight of 80.91, followed by the phrase "Allows the participation of opinions and comments" with a relative weight of 80.41. 3. There is a statistically significant correlation between the intensity of the respondents' use of the Ministry of Interior's pages on social networking sites and their evaluation of the role of these pages in enhancing their security awareness.
