تناولت الدراسة مجموعة من أوراق الزعيم سعد زغلول والسيدة صفية زغلول التي تم حفظها في مخازن متحف الجزيرة، والتي لم يتم تناولها بالدراسة من قبل، وهدفت دراسة هذه المتكاملة الأرشيفية من الوثائق والأوراق الشخصية للزعيم سعد زغلول وأم المصريين إلى دراستها أرشيفًيا، ونشر وتحقيق نماذج من أهم وثائق هذه المجموعة، وإعداد دراسة تاريخية من خلالها. اعتمدت الدراسة على منهج دراسة الحالة؛ بهدف دراسة المجموعة الأرشيفية والتعرف على الظروف المحيطة بها والعوامل المؤثرة فيها، على ماهي عليه، والمنهج التاريخي التحليلي التركيبي: للخروج بدراسة تاريخية من مجموعة الأوراق. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج، أبرزها: حياة السيدة صفية زغلول ودورها المجتمعي والسياسي، منها اسمها الحقيقة وهو "صوفية Sofia" وليس "صفية" وتاريخ ميلادها الحقيقي رسمياً وليس المتعارف عليه تاريخياً، كذلك علاقات الزعيم بأفراد عائلته من خلال مراسلات شخصية، كما كشفت الدراسة عن زوايا جديدة في الحركة النسائية المصرية، ودخول المرأة المصرية إلى عالم السياسة، من خلال وثائق المجموعة الخاصة باجتماعات لجنة الوفد للسيدات، وبروز نجم عدد من السيدات، اللاتي كان لهن دور مهم فيما بعد حقبة الثورة. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة ضم المجموعتين الأولى والثانية في موقع واحد، لفتح المجال أمام الباحثين في الاطلاع على هذه الوثائق واتاحتها للدراسات المستقبلية، وتأسيس مركز لوثائق ثورة 1919 بمقر متحف بيت الأمة، وترميم المجموعة بأكملها، حيث أنها في حالة ليست جيدة نظرا لسوء أماكن التخزين. The study dealt with a group of papers of the leader Saad Zaghloul and Mrs. Safia Zaghloul, which were preserved in the stores of the Al Jazeera Museum, and which had not been dealt with in the study before. The study of this comprehensive archive of documents and personal papers of the leader Saad Zaghloul and the mother of the Egyptians aimed to study them archivally, and to publish and verify examples of the most important Documents of this group, and preparing a historical study from them.The study relied on the case study approach. With the aim of studying the archival collection and identifying the circumstances surrounding it and the factors influencing it, as it is, and the historical-analytical-synthetic approach: to come up with a historical study from the collection of papers.
The study reached several results, the most notable of which are: the life of Mrs. Safia Zaghloul and her societal and political role, including her real name, which is “Sofia,” not “Safia,” and her real date of birth is official and not historically known, as well as the leader’s relationships with members of his family through personal correspondence, as the study revealed. About new angles in the Egyptian women’s movement, and the entry of Egyptian women into the world of politics, through the documents of the group for the meetings of the Women’s Delegation Committee, and the emergence of a number of women, who had an important role in the post-era. Revolution. The study recommended the necessity of combining the first and second collections in one location, to open the way for researchers to view these documents and make them available for future studies, establishing a center for documents of the 1919 Revolution at the headquarters of the Nation House Museum, and restoring the entire collection, as it is not in good condition due to poor storage places.
