هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على أهمية دور تطبيق التحول الرقمي على جودة العملية التعليمية، وتحديد أهدافه ومبرراته وفوائده، وكذلك مقوماته ومراحله ومتطلباته. كما تهدف الدراسة إلى تحديد التحديات والمعوقات التي تواجه التحول الرقمي في الجامعة، من أجل تقديم مقترحات لتفعيل التحول الرقمي في العملية التعليمية للوصول غلى أعلى مستوى من الجودة، استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، بالاستعانة بطريقة المسح الاجتماعي، حيث تم تطبيق استمارة استبيان على عينة قوامها 400 من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والعاملين والطلاب بجامعة المنيا. كما تم استخدام المقابلات المتعمقة مع مجموعة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومتخذي القرار والاداريين والطلاب، أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن أكثر من نصف عينة الدراسة يؤكدون على وجود مزايا للتحول الرقمي في الجامعة، بما في ذلك تحسين عملية صنع القرار، وتحديث النواحي الإدارية، وتحسين الأداء الأكاديمي والمهني لأعضاء هيئة التدريس، وتحسين جودة البرامج والمقررات الدراسية، كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة الميدانية أن إحداث تطوير وتحسين البرامج والمناهج التعليمية تُعد أهم أهداف التحول الرقمي في الجامعة، يلي ذلك علي الترتيب: تُمكن الطلاب من البحث والابتكار والإبداع، إكساب المهارات الضرورية من أجل التعامل مع التكنولوجيا الحديثة، الإسهام في متابعة مستجدات سوق العمل والنماذج الاقتصادية المبتكرة، والأدوار الجديدة لأطراف العملية التعليمية، تنمية خبرات التعليم الذاتي والتعليم المستمر، تعزيز التعاون بين مختلف الجامعات والمراكز البحثية بتبادل قواعد البيانات، وأخيرًا استخدام تطبيقات الواقع الافتراضي والواقع المعزز. هذا يؤكد على أن التحول الرقمي في المؤسسات التعليم العالي له هدف في تطوير وتحسين المناهج التعليمية والتخطيط لعملياتهم والتدريب عليها حتى الوصول إلى حد التمكن والإتقان في العملية التعليمية.السؤال البحثي المركزي : ما مدى دور تطبيق التحول الرقمي على تحسين جودة العملية التعليمية This study aimed to highlight the importance of digital transformation in improving the quality of the educational process, identifying its objectives, justifications, and benefits, as well as its components, stages, and requirements. The study also aimed to identify the challenges and obstacles facing digital transformation at the university, with the aim of providing proposals for activating digital transformation in the educational process to achieve the highest level of quality. The study used a descriptive approach, utilizing a social survey method. A questionnaire was administered to a sample of 400 faculty members, staff, and students at Minya University. In-depth interviews were also conducted with a group of faculty members, decision-makers, administrators, and students. The study results showed that more than half of the study sample confirmed the benefits of digital transformation at the university, including improving the decision-making process, modernizing administrative aspects, enhancing the academic and professional performance of faculty members, and improving the quality of programs and courses. The results of the field study also showed that developing and improving educational programs and curricula are the most important goals of digital transformation at the university, followed, in order, by: enabling students to research, innovate, and create; providing the necessary skills to deal with modern technology; contributing to monitoring labor market developments and innovative economic models, and new roles for stakeholders in the educational process; developing self-learning and continuing education experiences; enhancing cooperation between various universities and research centers by exchanging databases; and finally, using virtual reality and augmented reality applications. This confirms that digital transformation in higher education institutions aims to develop and improve educational curricula, planning their operations, and training them until they reach the level of mastery and proficiency in the educational process.The central research question is: To what extent does digital transformation contribute to improving the quality of the educational process?
