The main objective of this investigation was detection of some pathogenic bacteria in different water sources.The other objective were develop molecular approaches that could be used for rapid sensitive and specific monitoring of the three bacterial pathogens total vibrios Listeria group and salmonellae group directly and comparison between cultivation based methods(membrane filtration(MF)and multiple tube fermentation(MTF)techniques and rapid methods(PCR)
