Iterative learning control (ILC) technique is an effective tool in improving the control performance of repetitive - task systems . ILC improves the performance of the control system by incorporating error information into the control input for the subsequent iterations . The main objective of the thesis is to introduce the fundamental ILC schematics . The different ILC schemes are applied to a real - time system of precision servo motor applied to an xY table
