The study results ifentified the presence of heart failure prior to surgery as an additional risk factor renal insult . Moreover it showed the negative effect of fluid overload on AKI development which has become apparent in recent years . Results have also revealed the potential negative effect of postoperative low cardiac output syndrome as a potential risk factor for AKI development
