This study is a prospective, randomized study including 60 patients with established diagnosis of locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck attending Kasr Eleiny center of clinical oncology (NEMROCK) during the period from January 2006 and March 2008. After complete diagnosis and staging work up, the patients were assigned to receive either induction chemotherapy
