Cyclin A 1 is known to be downstream of p53 and was more frequently hypermethylated in primary tumors with wild - type p53 as compared with methylation in those with mutant status . Our study investigates the relationship between cyclin A 1 and p53 epigentics in colorectal cancer patients . 26 patients ( 11 female and 15 male with age range 24 - 75 y ) were recruited with a diagnosis of colorectal cancer endoscopically and pathologically
