Magnetophoresis of non-magnetic particles is the induced motion of non-magnetic particles suspended in magnetic media on the application of a magnetic field gradient . An integrated 3D FE model was developed to study the focusing of the nonmagnetic particle in a negative magnetophoresis device. The 3D model was used to develop a modified design resulted in a substantial enhancement of the separation efficiency
