The aim of the study to investigate the potential association between the single nucleotide polymorphism +405GC of the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) gene with the risk of endometriosis. The sample of the study was 100 Egyptian women tested for association in a case-control study of 50 affected women and 50 women with no evidence of endometriosis
