Surface roughness and bacterial adherence of fluoridated and bleached two veneering Ceramic materials : An in vitro study / الخشونة السطحية والالتصاق البكتيري لنوعين من السيراميك القشري المعالج بالفلوريد أو المبيض : دراسة في المختبر Ahmed Mohammed Hamed ; Supervised Gihan Abdelhady Elnaggar , Alzahra Abdelhamid Aldwakhle - Cairo : Ahmed Mohammed Hamed , 2013 - 99 Leaves : charts , facsimiles ; 30cm
Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Prosthodontics
Purpose: To investigate the effect of bleaching agent and topical fluoride application on the surface roughness and bacterial adherence to glazed and polished two veneering ceramic material. Materials and methods . Results: bleaching significantly increase surface roughness and bacterial adherence count of all tested groups when compared to untreated groups. While Topical fluoride application significantly increase surface roughness and bacterial adherence count of all tested groups except glazed e.max veneering ceramic when compared to untreated groups..
