With the existence of wireless communication systems and rapid advances in technologies for tracking the positions of continuously moving objects new applications have emerged for those moving objects (MO). Traffic control and E- commerce are examples of moving objects databases applications. Moving objects are objects that change their position and/ or shape continuously over time. Traditional database management systems are inadequate to accommodate moving objects. This inadequacy is due to the fact that traditional database mainly assume data to be constant unless it is explicitly modified 1. In order to manage, maintain, access, query the large amount of location data new database techniques are needed
