Focused on the study in question the role of the United Nations peacekeeping operations as one of the most important mechanisms devised by the UN agency to deal with displays from disputes and attitudes of international, has gained work peacekeeping by the United Nations is increasingly important in light of the current international system shifts are much more than ever before under the cold War, the work of peacekeeping represent only the operational aspect of the military post of the United Nations, as a result of what led to the split ideological and international polarization and conflict of interest and at the time of undermining the spirit of collective security expressed by the UN Charter conditions, something which in turn led to inability to enforce arrangements stipulated by the Charter, in the case of threat to the peace, aggression and despite the exceptional importance that figured out acts of peacekeeping by the United Nations since then, but this business has become obsessed at the moment on the growing stature in the global transformations storm, where carried these transformations in a secured new dimensions to the lack of security along the international arena, and to all national, regional, continental and global levels, therefore, these changes put forward to the United Nations challenges did not riginally arise to confront them, at a time when increasing need for security role of the international organization, This requires strengthening the role of the United Nations as a key tool for conflict prevention and resolution and peacekeeping.
