This study focuses on public service governmental office buildings to assist design developers, architects and interior designers, signage systems designers, and public buildings operators. A literature review covered previous wayfinding research. The research developed a checklist of factors needed for wayfinding design analysis, to be used as a guideline for analyzing international and local examples. A questionnaire on Mogamaa El Tahrir building users showed that there is a defficency in human and physical aspects and attributes needed for wayfinding inside the building. Implications for designing public governmental buildings for wayfinding was discussed
