Alloimmunization to erythrocyte antigens , of variable clinical significance , is a frequent finding in thalassemic multitransfused patient.The rat of such antibodies is 29.6 in our study.Such antibodies are usually responsible for delayed hemolytic transfusion reaction , with the resuiting destruction of the transfused red cells
