In our study Shock Index was higher in Non-Survivors than Survivors with (P value < 0.001) ; high shock Index was associated with Mortality with cutoff value 0.87 and sensitivty 86% , specificity 89% and AUC 0.86. As regard haemodynamics CO&CI were not decreased in patients with sepsis ; All patients had normal or elevated CO & CI with higher values in non-survivors than survivors . There was significant positive correlations between RDW, serum lactate level and shock Index . When we reviewed the literature and new studies, we didn't find any similar trials or studies Correlated RDW with Shock index or RDW with Haemodynamic parameters . also there were no studies Correlated RDW with mortality in EYPTIAN septic Patients . Finally our study and most observational studies suggest that RDW and shock Index have high prognostic value in patients with sepsis
