This work investigates the solar photovoltaic potential in the MENA region by comparing two types of PV systems; fixed tilt and single axis tracking. The comparison is based on the levelized cost of energy (LCOE) approach. Up-to-date prices and assumptions are used so as to have results as close as possible to reality
