In this work we synthesized a series of heterocyclic compounds through starting from compound 3. The synthesized compounds including pyrazole, oxazole, pyran, pyridine and pyrimidine derivatives. The structures of the newly synthesized products were confirmed on the basis of their respective analytical and spectral data. The cytotoxicity of the newly synthesized products was measured against three cancer cell lines where some compounds showed high cytotoxicity
