The screening procedure for the applicability of EOR processes are carried out for these five fields using specialized software (EOR Graphical User Interface and the EORgui). The results of the study show that the most appropriate EOR methods for Kharita formation appear are: the immiscible gas flooding and the alkaline methods. The challenges and the main technical concerns in applying these EOR technologies in these fields are discussed in the light of the lessons learnt from large scale worldwide EOR projects. An economical evaluation is carried out to estimate the cost of the surface facilities requirements. The proposed approach can be used to support the decision making
