Sensor-based behavior biometric authentication for smartphoes / التحقق من الهوية للهواتف الذكية بالاعتماد على السمات السلوكية البيومترية Hebatollah Mostafa Mokhtar Elkaiaty ; Supervised Abeer Mohamed Elkorany , Mohammed Elramly , Hassan Shaban - Cairo : Hebatollah Mostafa Mokhtar Elkaiaty , 2020 - 95 Leaves : charts , facsimiles ; 30cm
Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Computers and Artifical Intelligence - Department of Computer Science
In this thesis, an authentication model called Behavio2Auth has been designed and evaluated in order to verify the identity of the smartphone user by leveraging the accelerometer sensory data. These data represent behavioral biometric traits of the users finger moves on the touchscreen. Authentication is done continuously and implicitly. This approach handles the existing security and usability challenges in the traditional authentication mechanisms such as frequent unlocking requests that make the user get annoyed
