Objectives: To assess the prevalence of PCOS in overweight and obese diabetic adolescents using transabdominal pelvic ultrasonography.Patients and methods: The study was retrospective cross-sectional study carried on 127 adolescent diabetic, overweight and obese virgin female patients (between March 2020 to October 2020). Full history taking and clinical examination including anthro Transabdominal ultrasonography was done. Their mean age was 14.9 ± 2.1 years with age ranged between 12-18 years , their mean duration of diabetes was 7.1 ± 3.2 years with duration of diabetes ranged between 2-17 years and their mean BMI was 28.72 ± 2.99 Kg/m2 with BMI ranged between 25-34.5 Kg/m2. Thirty nine outpometric measurements. Fasting for 6 hours except for drinking excess water to achieve full urinary bladder Transabdominal ultrasonography was done. Results : This study was carried on 127 diabetic, overweight or obese adolescent virgin female patients. Their mean age was 14.9 ± 2.1 years with age ranged between 12-18 years , their mean duration of diabetes was 7.1 ± 3.2 years with duration of diabetes ranged between 2-17 years and their mean BMI was 28.72 ±2.99 Kg/m2 with BMI ranged between 25-34.5 Kg/m2. Thirty nine out of 127 patients (30.7%) had clinical evidence of PCOS. Thirty six out of 127 patients (28.3 %) had ultrasonographic evidence of PCOS
