Summary, etc.	كانت سخا عاصمة الإقليم السادس من أقاليم مصر الفرعونية، وكانت عاصمة الحكم للأسرة الرابعة عشرة الفرعونية، ومرت بها العائلة المقدسة. وكان لها أهمية كبيرة في العصر الإسلامي، واشتركت في بعض الثورات، وكان لها دور مهم في بعض الأحداث التي عمت القطر المصري بأكمله. وكان لسخا على مر العصور دور اقتصادي مهم، وكان بها أسواق كبيرة، وكانت لها شهرة بالقمح الكثير والكتان، والعنب، ذكر ذلك الرحالة الذين رأوها. وكانت سَخَا موطنا للعديد من القبائل العربية والبربرية، ومقرا لرئاسة بعضها. أخرجت سخا العديد من العلماء الذين اشتغلوا بالعلوم المختلفة: الشرعية والنظرية والتطبيقية، وشغلوا مناصب القضاء والخطابة والتدريس في سخا وغيرها من مدن مصر والشام، ومنهم من عمل بالتدريس بمكة والمدينة. وأخرجت سخا العديد من الأدباء، الذين بقي العديد منهم من خلال أعمالهم الأدبية التي وصلت إلينا. وهذا البحث بعنوان: ”مدينة سخا: من الفتح الإسلامي لمصر إلى نهاية العصر المملوكي [21 - 923هـ = 641 - 1517م] دراسة تاريخية حضارية” أعده الباحث لبيان أهمية هذه المدينة وإبراز الجوانب الحضارية لها، وخصص الباحث الفصل الأول لتاريخ سَخَا السياسي، والفصل الثاني للمظاهر الحضارية في سخا، والفصل الثالث للحياة العلمية والأدبية في سخا.

Summary, etc.	Sakha was the capital of the sixth province of Pharaonic Egypt, and was the capital of the ruling family of the Fourteenth Pharaonic Dynasty, and the Holy Family passed through it.<br/>Sakha had a great importance in the Islamic era, and participated in some uprisings, and had an important role in some events that swept the entire country.<br/>Throughout the ages, Sakha had an important economic role, and had large markets, and it was famous for its abundance of wheat, flax, and grapes, as mentioned by the travelers who visited it.<br/>It was also home of many Arab and Berber tribes.<br/>Sakha was also the center of many scholars who excelled in various fields of knowledge, and some of them worked as teachers in Sakha itself, and in Makka, Madina, and other place.<br/>Sakha was also the center of many writers whose works are still available to us.<br/>This research is titled: ”The City of Sakha: from the Islamic Conquest of Egypt to the End of the Mamluk Era [21 - 923 AH = 641 - 1517 AD] A Historical and Cultural Study”. The first chapter treats of the political history of Sakha, and the second deals with the Cultural manifestations in Sakha, and the third tackles the scientific and literary life in Sakha.<br/>
