| Summary, etc. | تبيّن من الدراسة أن عجز الموازنة العامة للدولة يتحمل جانبا من المسئولية عن التدهور الذى حدث فى قيمة الجنيه بالنسبة للدولار فترة الدراسة، وتبين أيضا من فحص طبيعة العلاقة بين تمويل عجز الموازنة ومؤشر سعر الصرف الحقيقى أن التمويل المحللى غير المصرفى له أهمية ملموسة فى تفسير تقلبات سعر الصرف الحقيقى، وأن هذا المتغير إذا ما أُحسن استخدامه فى تمويل الإنفاق الإستثمارى للعجز المالى فى الموازنة العامة فسوف تكون له نتائج إيجابية على سعر الصرف الحقيقى فى الأجل الطويل من خلال التأثير على جانب العرض الكلى، كما أن تأثيره فى الأجلين القصير والمتوسط يمكن أن يكون جيدا. وتلاحظ أنه فى الفترات التى تحسنت فيها قيمة الجنيه بالنسبة للدولار هى الفترات التى تدخل فيها البنك المركزى للحافظ على القيمة الإسمية للجنيه مقابل الدولار فى سوق الصرف، ولقد أدت هذه التدخلات فى فترات الصدمات الخارجية التى أثرت على حصيلة الدولة من العملى الأجنبية الى حدوث فرق بين القيمة الإسمية والقيمة الحقيقية للدولار فى سوق الصرف |

| Summary, etc. | The study revealed that the budget deficit bears part of the responsibility for the deterioration that<br/>occurred in the value of the pound in relation to the dollar during the study period, and also it became<br/>clear from the relationship between the budget deficit financing and the real exchange rate index that<br/>the non-banking domestic finance component is important Concrete in explaining the fluctuations of<br/>the real exchange rate, and that this variable, if it is well used in financing the investment spending of<br/>the fiscal deficit, will have positive impact on the real exchange rate in the long term by affecting the<br/>aggregate supply side, and its effect in the short and medium term can be good. It notes that in the<br/>periods when the value of the pound improved relative to the dollar, as it was the result of an<br/>intervention by the Central Bank to preserve the nominal value of the pound against the dollar in the<br/>exchange market, and these interventions in periods of external shocks that affected the state’s foreign<br/>currency earnings led to a difference between the nominal value and the real value of the dollar in the<br/>exchange market, and this difference later prompted speculation on the dollar, which led to an increase<br/>The sequence in its real value in the exchange market. |
