| Summary, etc. | To evaluate the clinical behavior of translucent zirconia crowns in dental<br/>esthetic zone with biologically oriented preparation technique versus conventional<br/>preparation<br/>Methodology: For teeth in the aesthetic zone, 44 monolithic translucent zirconia single<br/>crowns were fabricated. According to the preparation designs, the patients were<br/>separated into two groups. Group1: conventional (horizontal preparation design)<br/>Group2: BOPT (vertical preparation design). For the first step, after final cementation.<br/>The Modified United States Public Health Service (MUSPH) criteria for restoration<br/>clinical evaluations were used to assess marginal adaption, marginal discoloration and<br/>fracture, patient satisfaction and gingival inflammation score were assessed<br/>immediately after cementation. Then these measures were taken again after three, six,<br/>nine, and twelve months.<br/> |
