Summary, etc. Fractional carbon dioxide laser (CO2) and neodymium doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd-YAG) laser have been reported to have promising results in the management of keloids. So far there have been no comparative studies between these laser modalities. Objective: The study aimed to compare the efficacy of fractional CO2, Nd-YAG, and a combination of both in the management of keloids. Results: The assessment by POSAS showed the most significant clinical improvement in the combination group and a less significant improvement in the fractional CO2 group while the least improvement was seen in the Nd-YAG group. Molecular assessment via procollagen I yielded matching results

Summary, etc. من المعروف أن ليزر ثاني أكسيد الكربون الجزئي وليزر نيوديميوم ياج لهما نتائج واعدة في علاج الجُدرات. لكن حتى الآن لا توجد دراسات مقارنة بين طرق الليزر هذه . الهدف: هدفت الدراسة إلى مقارنة فعالية ليزر ثاني أكسيد الكربون الجزئي وليزر نيوديميوم ياج وكلاهما معا في علاج الجدرات .النتائج: أظهر التقييم بواسطة المقياس السريري أن التحسن الأفضل كان في المجموعة المركبة وتحسنًا أقل في مجموعة ليزر ثاني أكسيد الكربون الجزئي بينما لوحظ أقل تحسن في مجموعة نيوديميوم ياج .الخلاصة: أظهرت الدراسة أن الجمع بين ليزر ثاني أكسيد الكربون الجزئي وليزر نيوديميوم ياج له تأثير تآزري كونه الأكثر فعالية في علاج الجُدرات ، كما أن ليزر ثاني أكسيد الكربون الجزئي أظهر فعالية أكثر من نيوديميوم ياج.
