Summary, etc. With a realistic view of the future, combustion will continue to be used widely. Since, the <br/>real challenge is to find new alternatives to fossil fuels; Biofuels are one of those and <br/>considered a source of renewable energy. Partially premixed combustion is found in many <br/>modern combustion systems because they are preferred than the two classical modes of <br/>combustion in terms of pollution and stability characteristics. Concentric flow slot burner is <br/>one of the methods that generate partially premixed flames depending on different <br/>normalized premixing length from L/D = 3 to 15 where D is the exit slot hydraulic diameter. <br/>Different flames are studied at different CO % (0 to 30%), different equivalence ratios and<br/>Re. Rayleigh Measurement technique is used for upstream non-reacting air-natural gas <br/>mixtures while simultaneous Rayleigh- OH PLIF Measurement technique is used for <br/>downstream reacting air-methane- CO mixtures to provide a complete study of the effects <br/>of mixing length, equivalence ratio and Re.

Summary, etc. مع نظرة واقعية للمستقبل، سيستمر استخدام الاحتراق على نطاق واسع.ولذلك، فإن التحدي الحقيقي هو إيجاد بدائل جديدة للوقود الأحفوري؛ الوقود الحيوي هو أحد تلك الأنواع ويعتبر مصدرًا للطاقة المتجددة. يستخدم الاحتراق المخلوط جزئيًا في العديد من أنظمة الاحتراق الحديثة لأنها مفضلة عن طريقتي الاحتراق التقليديتين من حيث خصائص التلوث والاستقرار. الموقد ذو فتحة التدفق المركز هو إحدى الطرق التي تولد لهبًا مختلطًا جزئيًا اعتمادًا على طول الخلط المسبق من L/D=3 الى 15 حيث D هو القطر الهيدروليكي لفتحة الخروج. . تمت دراسة اللهب عند نسبة مختلفة من ثاني أكسيد الكربون (0 الى 30%) و نسب مختلفة من ال Re,نسبة التكافؤ. تم استخدام طريقة القياس Rayleigh لنسب خلط مختلفة من الغاز الطبيعى و الهواء كما تم استخدام طريقة القياس Simultaneous Rayleigh- OH PLIF لنسب الخلط المختلفة من الهواء و الميثان و ثانى اكسيد الكربون .
