Summary, etc. The aim of the study was to compare the effect of amine free MDP-containing dual cured<br/>universal self-adhesive resin cement versus light cured resin cement on the final color of monolithic<br/>high translucent zirconia before and after thermocycling.<br/>Methodology: A total of 20 translucent zirconia discs, shade A2 (0.5 mm thickness, 9.5 mm<br/>diameter) were constructed, air abraded and randomly divided in two groups (n=10) according to<br/>the type of cement used: Group CH: Cemented by choice 2 (light cured resin cement), Group ZC:<br/>Cemented by ZR-Cem (amine-free MDP- containing dual cured self-adhesive resin cement).<br/>Specimens were cemented to PMMA disc, and subjected to thermocycling. Color change was then<br/>assessed using laboratory spectrophotometer. After testing for normality, collected data revealed<br/>parametric distribution and were expressed as mean and SD, data were statistically analyzed using<br/>independent t-test at a level of significance (P < 0.05).<br/>Results: After cementation, the color change was significantly lower in Group ZC (ΔE=2) than in<br/>Group CH (ΔE = 3.8). however, after thermocycling, it was significantly higher in Group ZC (ΔE=<br/>3.63) than Group CH (ΔE= 2.47), although within the clinically accepted range.<br/>Conclusion: Resin cement type and aging affect the final color of thin high translucent zirconia<br/>restorations. Light cure resin cement has more resistance to artificial aging compared to amine free<br/>MDP-containing dual cured resin cement.

Summary, etc. أدى زيادة متطلبات المرضى للترميمات التجميلية إلى استحداث الزركونيا أحادية الصنع عالية الشفافية التي تجمع بين الخصائص الميكانيكية والتجميلية المرجوة، وبالتالي أصبحت تستخدم في الترميمات التجميلية رفيعة السمك.<br/>تم تقسيم 20 قرص زركونيا بسماكة 0.5 مم و20 قرص PMMA بسماكة 5 مم الى مجموعتين بطريقة عشوائية (N=10): تم لزق المجموعة الاولى والتي يرمز لها بالرمزCH بأسمنت الراتنج الذي يعتمد على عالضوء لكي تتم عملية البلمرة وتم لزق المجموعة الثانية والتي يرمز لها بالرمز ZC بإسمنت الراتنج ذاتي اللصق مزدوج البلمرة الخالي من الأمين والذي يحتوي على MDP، تم ثقل السطح الخارجي لأقراص الزركونيا بينما تم تعريض السطح الاخر للسنفرة، تم لصق أقراص الزركونيا وتعريض العيانات للتدوير الحراري (5000 دورة). <br/>ثم تم إجراء تحليل مقياس الطيف لقياس معايير اللون (L*a* b*) وحساب اختلاف اللون قبل وبعد التدوير الحراري.<br/>أظهرت النتائج فرقا كبيرا إحصائيا في اللون بين كلتا المجموعتين؛ حيث وجد أن مجموعة CH كانت أعلى إحصائيا من مجموعة ZC قبل التدوير الحراري بينما كانت أقل إحصائيا بعد التدوير الحراري.<br/>تم استنتاج أن نوع الاسمنت والتدوير الحراري يؤثران على اللون النهائي لترميمات الزركونيا عالية الشفافية<br/>
