| Summary, etc. | Thermal comfort is important in residential areas. However, with the increase of <br/>the density, new cities are established without environmental standards. The <br/>temperature of urban areas is expected to increase, especially in the absence of <br/>environmental considerations in Egypt. Now urban Planning provide needs of cars not <br/>humans. The urban fabric has become separated housing with large street widths, <br/>which made them thermally uncomfortable places .This research discusses the effect <br/>of fabric on thermal comfort and the application of planning strategies to reach a <br/>standard model achieved thermal comfort using environmental simulation <br/>techniques.The theoretical study contains research problem, objectives, methodology, <br/>definitions of thermal comfort and how to achieve them and the role of environmental <br/>programs. The analysis study contains cities applied strategies to achieve thermal <br/>comfort, urban fabric patterns in Egypt, the methodology of selecting study areas and <br/>analyzing them .The applied methodology contains optimization to achieve thermal <br/>comfort. |

| Summary, etc. | تعتبر الراحة الحرارية مهمه في المناطق السكنية. ومع زيادة نمو المدن تزداد الكثافة، وبالتالي يتم إنشاء مدن جديدة دون معايير بيئية مناسبه. يناقش هذا البحث تأثير النسيج على الراحة الحرارية وتطبيق استراتيجيات التخطيط للوصول إلى نموذج قياسي يمكن من خلاله تحقيق أفضل راحة حرارية باستخدام تقنيات ووسائل المحاكاة البيئية.<br/>الدراسه النظرية تضمنت مشكلة البحث ومنهجيته وتعريفات الراحة الحرارية وكيفية تحقيقها و دور برامج المحاكاة البيئية. تحتوي الدراسة التحليليه على المدن التي طبقت إستراتيجيات لتحقيق الراحة الحرارية. و أنماط النسيج العمراني في مصر ومنهجية اختيار المدن بمنطقة الدراسة وتحليلها. تحتوي المنهجية التطبيقية على تحسين و تطوير نموذج للمدن للوصول للراحة الحرارية. |
