| Summary, etc. | The outflow of African migrants from less developed countries to wealthier nations, inside and outside the continent has brought much attention to scholars, media professionals and documentary filmmakers. The world is swathed by co-current waves of African migrants leaving their homeland hitting Europe and other countries, depicting another human tragedy. This study is a cross-cultural study with interrelates, correlates and at many times collides with the mainstream perception of media the ordinary readers have in their heads. It draws a qualitative analysis to evaluate and examine four documentaries which have been produced during 2020-2021. Using Machin and Mayr (2012) multimodal analysis, this study investigates the verbal and the visual components of the documentaries. It analyses the representational strategies used in language and the visual elements incorporated in the documentaries. Furthermore, ten interviews are conducted with journalists, filmmakers and directors who made documentaries about the African refugee crisis and the female African migratory routes. Thus, the Muted Group theory is used to account for the interview’s analysis through analysing their respondents, while focusing on the feminisation of migration in the African continent. Through exploring the narrative visualisation and framing analysis, the findings revealed that the female African migrants are less represented in African-focused-documentaries. It explored the various facets behind the reasons of the female Africans migratory systems and how they are being abused and subjected to mistreatment, sexual trafficking due to socio-economic factors. The findings revealed that the African migrants are likely to move inside their continent, looking for better opportunities and otherwise, they take the hard journeys to Europe. Interesting findings highlighted that the role of the European countries and international organisations to protect migrants at sea or at land is neither fulfilled nor addressed. On the contrary, several NGOs proved to help and provide financial, social and educational support into lives of migrants in Africa and in Europe. |

| Summary, etc. | ما بين النزوح والهجرة مع تزايد أعداد المهاجرين الافارقة الى الدول الاوروبية تكمن أهمية هذا البحث في اشتغاله على قضية من أهم القضايا التي تشغل الرأي العام العالمي خاصة في السنوات العشر الاخيرة وهي قضية الهجرة الافريقية حيث تهدف هذه الدراسة الى تحليل بنية السرد للأربعة أفلام وثائقية تعرض مشاكل الهجرة الغير شرعية للأفارقة وللمرأة الأفريقية تحديداً. قد تم تصوير أفريقيا حصرياً من خلال وسائل الإعلام على أنها قارة الفقر والحروب والخطر والصراعات والمجاعة واليأس. وعلى غرار اللاجئين السوريين، لقد شوهد الأفارقة محشورين ومكتظين في قوارب خشبية مكتظة تعبر البحر الأبيض المتوسط، في محاولة للوصول إلى أوروبا من أجل الحلم الأوروبي الجذاب.<br/>ولهذا يأتي أهمية هذه الرسالة البحثية التي تستكشف عددًا من القضايا الإشكالية التي يتم تناولها في الأفلام الوثائقية التي تمثل طرق الهجرة الأفريقية. ويطرح عدة أسئلة واستفسارات مثل: من له الحق في سرد القصة؟ كيف تلعب الإناث دوراً مهماً في قضية الهجرة الإفريقية؟ ما هو نوع القضايا التي لا يتم تمثيلها او يتم تجاهلها أو التقليل من شأنها، أو استجوابها من قبل وسائل الإعلام؟ ما هي المعايير الأخلاقية التي يتم تنفيذها وأخذها في الاعتبار من قبل صانعي الأفلام؟ تعتمد هذه الدراسة على النهج الكيفي للإجابة على الأسئلة المطروحة أعلاه حيث تنقسم الى جزئين أساسيين. يهتم الجزء الأول من المنهج الكيفي بتحليل أربعة أفلام وثائقية باستخدام الإطار النظري متعدد الوسائط لماشين وماير (2012). تتكون بيانات العينة من أربعة أفلام وثائقية تمثل رحلات الهجرة الأفريقية من بلدانهم الأصلية إلى بلدان أخرى سواء افريقية او غير افريقية بالإضافة إلى ذلك، فإن الأفلام الوثائقية الأربعة التي تم تحليلها مستمدة من مؤسسات إعلامية مختلفة أنتجت هذه الأفلام في الفترة الزمنية 2020-2021. تختار الدراسة تحليل هذه الأفلام الوثائقية من خلال نهج متعدد الوسائط يتم من خلاله فحص وتدقيق المكونات اللفظية والبصرية. اما الجزء الثاني من منهج الطريقة النوعية هو إجراء مقابلات مع عشرة من صانعي الأفلام الوثائقية الذين صنعوا أفلامهم الوثائقية حول قصص الهجرة الأفريقية. ويتم فحص تحليل المقابلات من خلال تطبيق نظرية المجموعة الصامتة كما وضعها إدوين وشيرلي أردنر "نظرية المجموعة الصامتة" عام 1975 ومنهجها التطوري منذ ذلك الحين. <br/>وأظهر تحليل الأفلام الوثائقية لتصوير المهاجرات، وخاصة الشابات، على أنهن سلعة ومنتج يتم شراءهن وبيعهن وظهرت تلك الصورة من خلال الفيلم الوثائقي “اشترى وبيع” الذي يعكس بوضوح صناعة التجارة الجنسية في نيجيريا وفي المناطق المجاورة. ومن أهم النتائج التي اظهرها البحث هو دور المنظمات غير الحكومية والهيئات غير الحكومية دورًا حاسمًا في حياة المهاجرين في مناطق مختلفة حيث قدموا مساعدات مختلفة للمهاجرين الذين كانوا في المواقف الأكثر ضعفًا وحرجا. كما قاموا بدعم الفتيات المهاجرات اللاتي يعملن خادمات في المنازل من خلال تقديم الدعم المالي والتعليمي لهن. اكتشف تحليل الأفلام الوثائقية والأشخاص الذين أجريت معهم المقابلات قدرًا كبيرًا من الشفافية والمسؤولية تجاه الجمهور. هذا بالإضافة الى ان أظهرت المقابلات دور صناع الأفلام الوثائقية الهام في الكشف عن الحقائق حيث قدموا التحليل الإحصائي وعملوا كمراسلين استقصائيين يبحثون عن الحقيقة. ومن خلال القيام بذلك، قاموا باستجواب السلطات والسياسيين والمنظمات الدولية التي تتحمل المسؤولية عن أوضاع المهاجرين. كما تسلط الدراسة الضوء على أن القضايا الأخلاقية ليست جزءًا لا يتجزأ من الإجراءات المعمول بها بالفعل فحسب، بل تنتج أيضًا عن ظروف غير متوقعة ودوافع المشاركين فيما يتعلق بالأفلام الوثائقية التي يصنعونها. ويوضح البحث مدى تأثير القضايا الأخلاقية على إنتاج صناعة الأفلام، خاصة عندما يتعلق الأمر بالثقة والمصداقية والشفافية. |
