Summary, etc.	Background: Plantar fasciitis (PF) is an inflammatory condition of the plantar fascia of the foot that causes heel pain and disability. Purpose: to compare between high power pain threshold ultrasound (HPPTUS) and myofascial release (MFR) techniques in treatment patient with chronic PF. Methods: 60 patients from both sexes with age from 40-60 years old assigned randomly and equally into 3 groups. Group (A): received convential treatment (plantar fascia stretch and interstice foot muscle strength) of PF. Group (B): received convential treatment and MFR. Group(C): received convential treatment and HPPTUS. Each group received 4weeks treatment 3 sessions per week. Results: there was a significant difference increase in mean value of pressure pain threshold (PPT), decrease in mean value of pain, and decrease in mean value of foot function index( FFI), increase in mean value of ankle dorsiflexion, and. increase in mean value of 6-minute walk test (6mwt ) within three groups.(p = 0.001). Post hoc test conducted between groups reveled that favor of Group (B) in increase mean value of (PPT), and ankle dorsiflexion.(p=0.001) and favor of Group (B) and Group (C) in decrease mean value of pain, (FFI), increase in mean value of 6mwt. (p=0.001). Conclusion: convential treatment, MFR, HPPTUS, were effective in decrease pain, decrease score of FFI, increase dorsiflexion ROM, and increase walk endurance. With favor of MFR in increase (PPT) and dorsiflexion ROM and favor of MFR AND HPPTUS in decrease pain intensity, FFI score, and increase walk endurance

Summary, etc.	الخلفية:التهاب اللفافة الاخمصيه هو حالة التهابية في اللفافة الأخمصية للقدم تسبب ألمًا في الكعب وإعاقة. الغرض: المقارنة بين تقنيات الموجات فوق الصوتية عالية الشدة المسببة للالم والافراج الليفي العضلي في علاج مرضي التهاب اللفافة الاخمصية المزمن. طرق البحث: تم اختيار 60 شخصاً من كلا الجنسين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 40-60 سنة، تم توزيعهم عشوائياً وبشكل متساوٍ في 3 مجموعات. مجموعة(العلاج التقليدي): تلقت علاجًا تقليديًا لالتهاب اللفافة الاخمصيه المزمن (اطالة للفافة الاخمصيه بالاضافه الي تقوية العضلات الداخليه للقدم ). مجموعة( الافراج الليفي العضلي): تلقت علاجاً تقليدياً والافراج الليفي العضلي مجموعة (الموجات الفوق صوتية عالية الشده المسببه للالم): تلقت علاجاً تقليدياً والموجات الفوق صوتيه عالية الشده المسببه للالم. تلقت كل مجموعة العلاج لمدة 4 أسابيع 3 جلسات في الأسبوع. النتائج: أظهرت زيادة كبيرة في متوسط قيمة تحمل الالم، وانخفاض في درجه الاحساس الألم، زيادة قدرة وظيفة القدم، وزيادة في متوسط قيمة ثني الكاحل، و. زيادة في القدره علي التحمل اثناء المشي في الثلاث مجموعات أظهر المقارنة بين المجموعات أن مجموعة الافراج الليفي العضلي كانت افضل في زيادة قيمة تحمل الالم، ثني الكاحل. ومجموعة الافراج الليفي العضلي ومجموعة الموجات الفوق صوتيه عالية الشده المسببه للالم كانت افضل في انخفاض درجة الاحساس بالألم وزيادة وظيفة القدم. ، زيادة في القدره علي التحمل اثناء المشي. الاستنتاج: كان العلاج التقليدي، الافراج الليفي العضلي، الموجات الفوق الصوتية عالية الشده المسببه للالم، فعالاً في تقليل الألم، زياده درجة وظيفة القدم، وزيادة ثني للكاحل، وزيادة القدرة على التحمل عند المشي لدى مريض يعاني من التهاب اللفافه الاخمصيه المزمن. مع الافضليه للافراج العضلي الليفي في الزيادة في مقدار قيمة تحمل الالم وثني الكاحل والافضليه للافراج العضلي الليفي و الموجات الفوق صوتية عالية الشده المسببة للالم في تقليل الاحساس بالألم، وزيادة درجة وظيفة القدم، وزيادة القدرة على التحمل أثناء المشي.
