Summary, etc. This study was carried out in five parts: 1- prepare the biopolymers which were used as coating materials for controlled release fertilizers. 2- Synthesis of three types of nano-hydroxyapatite (HA), one of them is prepared physically by milling natural apatite, and the other two types are prepared through chemical synthesis. The three types of synthesized nano-hydroxyapatite were characterized using several techniques. 3- Prepare the controlled-release fertilizer by loading urea fertilizer on the surface of HA, then coated with sodium alginate and lignin. 4- Nitrogen release pattern from controlled-release fertilizer was studied in water and loam clay soil. 5- A cultivation experiment was carried out to study the efficiency of the fertilizers on enhancing plant growth and yield. The results showed that the CRFs reduced the N release rate in the soil and increased the longevity of the fertilizer to 24 days against 6 days for conventional urea. The total yield obtained for CRFsr applied at N level of 75% were 48-120% higher than the full dose of urea while applying N rate of 25 % from CRFs was similar to the recommended dose of urea without any significance in the total yield for most of the treatments.

Summary, etc. أجريت هذه الدراسة في خمسة أجزاء: 1- تحضير البوليمرات الحيوية التي استخدمت كمواد تغليف للأسمدة ذات الإطلاق المتحكم فيه. 2- تحضير ثلاثة أنواع من مادة النانو هيدروكسي أباتيت (HA)، أحدها يتم تحضيره فيزيائياً عن طريق طحن الأباتيت الطبيعي، والنوعان الآخران يتم تحضيرهما عن طريق التخليق الكيميائي. تم تشخيص الأنواع الثلاثة من مادة النانو هيدروكسي أباتيت المصنعة باستخدام عدة تقنيات. 3- تحضير السماد معتدله الإنطلاق عن طريق تحميل سماد اليوريا على سطح HA ثم تغليفه بالجينات الصوديوم واللجنين. 4- تمت دراسة نمط إطلاق النيتروجين من الأسمدة معتدلة الإنطلاق في الماء والتربة الطينية. 5- تم إجراء تجربة زراعة لدراسة كفاءة الأسمدة في تعزيز نمو النبات وإنتاجيته. أظهرت النتائج أن الأسمده المخلقة خفضت معدل إطلاق النيتروجين في التربة وأطال من مدة انطلاق النيتروجين إلى 24 يومًا مقابل 6 أيام لليوريا التقليدية. كان إجمالي العائد الذي تم الحصول عليه من الأسمده المخلقة والمطبقة عند مستوى N بنسبة 75٪ أعلى بنسبة 48-120٪ من الجرعة الكاملة لليوريا بينما كان تطبيق معدل N بنسبة 25٪ من الأسمده المخلقة مشابهًا للجرعة الموصى بها من اليوريا دون أي زياده معنوية في إجمالي العائد لـ معظم المعاملات
