Summary, etc. This study aims to predict rock permeability using readily available drilling parameters <br/>without incurring additional costs. The study used three machine learning models, <br/>namely random forest (RF), decision trees (DT), and support vector machines (SVM), <br/>to predict porosity and permeability. The dataset used was obtained from two vertical <br/>wells located in the Middle East. The RF model exhibited accurate predictions of <br/>permeability, achieving R values surpassing 0.92 in the various datasets. The DT <br/>model displayed slightly lower performance, with the R-value decreasing to 0.88 in <br/>the testing dataset, the SVM model suffered from overfitting, with decreasing R values <br/>to 0.83 in the testing dataset. The study highlights the efficiency of data-driven <br/>machine learning models in real-time prediction of porosity and permeability using <br/>drilling parameters, which can enable timely and cost-effective estimation of reservoir <br/>properties while drilling

Summary, etc. الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو توقع المسامية والنفاذية الصخرية باستخدام بيانات الحفر ونماذج التعلم الآلي. تم استخدام ثلاثة نماذج للتعلم الآلي (DT, RF, SVM) للتنبؤ بالمسامية والنفاذية من بيانات الحفر المتاحة بسهولة. أظهرت النماذج الثلاثة أداءً مشجعاً في توقع المسامية، وأظهر نموذج RF توقعات دقيقة للنفاذية بينما عانى نموذج SVM من التجهيز الزائد. تكمن اهمية هذه الدراسة في التقدير الفوري والفعال من حيث التكلفة لخصائص الخزان، وتحسين عمليات اتخاذ القرار المتعلقة بإدارة الخزان.
