Summary, etc.	Objective: To correlate fetal pulmonary artery (PA) Doppler parameters with neonatal outcome in patients diagnosed with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. <br/>Methods: A prospective cross sectional study was undertaken on pregnant patients diagnosed with hypertensive disorders undergoing elective or emergency termination of pregnancy in Kasr Alainy hospital under spinal anaesthesia between 28 0/7 – 37 6/7 weeks. A full obstetrics ultrasound scan was performed within 24 hours before delivery to confirm the eligibility criteria and to measure PA Doppler indices.<br/>Main outcome measures: Acceleration time to ejection time ratio (At/Et) of fetal PA Doppler in neonates needing respiratory support (in the form of ventilator, Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), or nasal flow oxygen).<br/>Results: The study included 72 women. None of the PA Doppler parameters correlated with the neonatal need for respiratory support or the neonatal need for resuscitation. Fetuses that needed respiratory support had a significantly lower gestational age at delivery, lower estimated fetal weight (EFW), lower birth weight and also lower Apgar score than those whose did not need. The need for respiratory support was more in the neonates who were terminated on emergency basis. <br/>Conclusions: PA Doppler parameters do not correlate with the need for respiratory support or the neonatal need for resuscitation in patients diagnosed with hypertensive disorders with pregnancy.

Summary, etc.	تم إجراء هذه الدراسة المقطعية المرتقبة في قسم أمراض النساء والتوليد في مستشفى قصر العيني الجامعي بعد موافقة اللجنة الأخلاقية المؤسسية خلال الفترة من ديسمبر 2022 إلى اغسطس 2024. شملت هذه الدراسة 72 امرأة مصابات باضطرابات ارتفاع ضغط الدم مع الحمل وحمل مفرد و من المقرر الخضوع لعملية الوضع سواء اختيارية أو طارئة تحت تاثير التخدير النصفي من 28 اسبوع الي 37 أسبوعً وسبعة ايام .<br/>كان الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو ربط مؤشرات دوبلر الشريان الرئوي بالموجات فوق الصوتية لنضج رئة الجنين بنتيجة حديثي الولادة في مرضى ارتفاع ضغط الدم مع الحمل.<br/>تم إجراء مسح كامل بالموجات فوق الصوتية للولادة في خلال 24 ساعة قبل الولادة لتوثيق القياسات للجنين، وتقدير وزن الجنين، ومؤشر السائل الأمنيوسي وتقييم نضج الجنين. بعد الولادة ، تم تجميع حديثي الولادة وفقًا للحاجة للدعم التنفسي (الحاجة إلى الدعم التنفسي (عدد = 20) وعدم الحاجة للدعم التنفسي (عدد = 52)).<br/>في هذه الدراسة لم تكن هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المجموعتين في البيانات الديموغرافية للام، ولكن مدة الحمل كان ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المجموعتين. فيما يتعلق بقياسات دوبلر الشريان الرئوي المدروسة، لم نجد ارتباط بين قياسات دوبلر الشريان الرئوي و الحاجة إلى دعم الجهاز التنفسي أو حاجة حديثي الولادة للإنعاش.<br/>أظهرت نتائج هذه الدراسة أن الأجنة التي تحتاج إلى دعم تنفسي كان مدة حملهم أقل بشكل ملحوظ عند الولادة، و وزن أقل للجنين، و وزن أقل عند الولادة، وأيضًا درجة أبجار أقل من أولئك الذين لم يحتاجوا. كانت الحاجة إلى الدعم التنفسي أكثر عند حديثي الولادة الذين تم إنهاء الحمل بصورة طارئة .أظهرت نتائجنا عدم وجود فرق في جنس الجنين بين الأجنة التي تحتاج إلى دعم تنفسي والذين لا يحتاجون.
