| Summary, etc. | This study has been conducted on 30 pregnant mares, 15 of which from Arabian horse breed and others from native breeds , the later ( native) were subjected to embryo transfer (EM ) from Arabian stallions and their 30 foals ( 9 males , 21 females) were studied in the period from January 2021 till September 2023 in Al-Zahra Arab Stud and private farms . <br/>The study comprised maternal behavior of Arabian mares with assessment of foal performance (behavioral , physical , immunological) .The maternal hormones of mares at foaling (prolactin , progesterone) were analyzed and parasitic infestation ( blood and internal parasites) of foals were examined .<br/>Obtained results revealed that : immunological status and physical parameters(length ,height , girth ) of natural foals had higher results than embryo transfer foals , the natural breeding foals were infected by internal parasites ( parascaris equarum ) and blood parasite ( babesia ) while the foals produced from embryo transfer didn’t infected at all this may be attributed to the difference of Hygiene and housing system , the maternal hormones ( prolactin , progesterone) were analyzed directly after parturition to ensure their relation with normal maternal behavior in Arabian mares.<br/> |

| Summary, etc. | اجريت هذه الدراسه علي 30 فرس (15 من الخيول العربيه و 15 من السلالات المحليه) اجريت علي الاخيره (المحليه) منها نقل اجنه من طلايق لخيول عربيه اصيله وتمثلت نتايجهم في 30 مهر عربي منهم 9 ذكور و 21 اناث في الفتره من يناير 2021 حتي سبتمبر2023 <br/>وتم ذلك في محطه الزهراء للخيول العربيه وبعض المزارع الخاصه <br/> تم دراسه وتحليل سلوكيات الامومه وتقييم اداء المهاري السلوكي والفيزياءي والمناعي , كما تم قياس مستوي هرمون الامهات بعد الولاده ( البرولاكتين – البروجسترون ) وتم اجراء تحليل الطفيليات الداخليه وطفيليات الدم لهذه المهاري. <br/>خلص النتائج الي مايلي : ان قياسات المستوي المناعي ( IgG ) والاداء الفيزياءي متمثلا في قياسات الجسم ( الارتفاع والطول ومحيط الصدر) بالنسبه للمهاري الناتجه من التكاثر الطبيعي ( Natural breeding ) سجلت اعلي من مثيلتها الناتجه من نقل الجنه (Embryo transfer ) . كما اوضحت نتايج تحليل الطفيليات ان الامهار الناتجه من التكاثر الطبيعي تم اصابتها بديدان الاسكارس وكذلك بطفيليات الدم (البابيزيا ) بينما لم تصاب الامهار الناتجه من نقل الاجنه وقد يعزي ذلك الي اختلاف النظام الصحي و الاسكان في كليهما . كما سجلت النتاج ان قياس هرمونات الامومه بعد الولاده ( البرولاكتين والبروجسترون ) كان موشرا واضحا لسلوك الامومه الطبيعي في امهات الخيول العربيه .<br/> |
