Summary, etc.	Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to identify the critical variables that affect the sum of money that investors pay to subscribe for an initial public offering (IPO) of a company that is listed on the Egyptian market. The vital need to understand the factors that affect IPO subscription levels, whether they are high or low, is the main driver for carefully examining this phenomenon in Egypt. <br/>Methodology: The population from which the sample was drawn is the total number of IPO companies listed on the Egyptian stock exchange between 2005 and 2022. The study data were initially sourced from the disclosure department of the Egyptian Stock Exchange. To identify the factors that influenced the volume of investor’s subscription during a company IPO, multiple regression analyses were carried out to investigate the relationship between independent variables and subscription level. <br/>Findings: This study reached a number of different significant relationships between the independent variables and the dependent variable.

Summary, etc.	يتمثل الهدف من هذه الدراسة في التعرف على المحددات الرئيسية التي تؤثر على نسبة الاكتتاب للشركات المدرجة في السوق المصري وذلك من قبل المستثمرين. فمعرفة الدافع المستمرة للأسباب الكامنة وراء مستوى الاكتتاب في الشركات التي تطرح أسهمها لأول مرة في سوق الأوراق المالية سواء أكان مستوى الاكتتاب مرتفعًا أم منخفضًا، هو الدافع الرئيسي لدراسة هذه الظاهرة بدقة في مصر. <br/>بناءً على ما سبق سيعتبر مجتمع الدراسة الذين سيتم اختيار العينة منهم هو إجمالي عدد الشركات التي تم طرحها في البورصة المصرية في الفترة من 2005 حتى الانتهاء من هذه الدراسة، وذلك كلما أمكن برغم فرض عدم توفر بعض البيانات من بعض الشركات عن الطرح. <br/>اعتمدت هذه الدراسة في الحصول على البيانات الخاصة بها من صفحة الموقع الإلكتروني الرسمي للبورصة المصرية www.egx.com.eg. لفحص محددات مستوى اكتتاب المستثمر في الاكتتابات العامة في الشركات، وذلك عند طرحها للاكتتاب العام لأول مرة. وقد تم إجراء تحليلات الانحدار المتعدد لاختبار العلاقة بين زيادة الاكتتاب والمتغيرات المستقلة.
