| Summary, etc. | This thesis discusses the variables affecting the acceptance of supplied products in a well-known Egyptian automotive company. This work can be applied in many fields of industry. It demonstrates the importance of analyzing the process of quality check points, and its direct effect on saving time and reducing cost. The thesis answers some statistical questions related to supplier and material selection. Then the most effective variables are discussed and analyzed in details. The data are gathered and cleaned before running the statistical models that are used in analysis. Binary logistic regression model is used to predict the acceptance of supplied products, and calculate odds ratios and probabilities of the factors affecting this essential inspection step. Besides, random forest algorithm is applied and compared to the classic binary logistic regression model. The study revealed that the supplier quality score and the type of material of the supplied parts affect their acceptance by the responsible department. |

| Summary, etc. | في هذه الرسالة، تم استخدام العديد من الأساليب والتقنيات. ومصدر البيانات المستخدمة هو قسم جودة الواردات، التابع لقسم مراقبة الجودة، في شركة سيارات مصرية معروفة. أولاً، تم الحصول علي البيانات وتجميعها في ملفين منفصلين. الملف الأول هو تقرير قبول المنتجات الموردة خلال شهرين في عام 2022. يحتوي الملف الثاني على بيانات تخص جميع الموردين في الشركة فيما يتعلق بجودة منتجاتهم ووقت التسليم والسعر؛ إلى جانب متوسط الدرجة الإجمالية لكل مورد. ثانيا، تم دمج الملفين إلي ملف واحد لتجهيزه للدراسة.<br/> وقبل البدء في تحليل البيانات التي تم جمعها، تمت معالجتها ببرامج "R" ولغة الاستعلام المهيكلة "SQL" و "SPSS" بطرق كثيرة منها إعادة تسمية جميع المتغيرات وتحديد أنواعها سواء كانت كمية أو نوعية، و إيجاد الصفوف المتكررة والقيم المفقودة والتعامل مع هذه المشكلات بالحلول المناسبة. وأيضا تم دراسة جميع المتغيرات، كل متغير علي حدة. بالاضافة إلي دراسة علاقة كل متغير مستقل بالمتغير التابع. والمتغيرات المستقلة التي تم دراستها في هذه الرسالة عبارة عن ثلاثة متغيرات: متغير "مفتاح الصناعة" ويتمثل في المادة الخام للأجزاء الموردة، ومتغير "كفاءة المورد" ويتمثل في درجة كفاءة كل مورد في سوق العمل، ومتغير الكمية وهو يشير إلي كمية الأجزاء الموردة في الشحنة الواحدة. والهدف من الرسالة هو دراسة تأثير هذه المتغيرات علي المتغير التابع وهو القرار بقبول أو رفض المنتج المورد. <br/> و بعد الوصول لهذا الجزء من هذه الرسالة، وجد أنه من الأفضل تحديد المواد الأكثر أهمية لاستخدامها في التحليل، لذلك تمت تصفية البيانات وفقًا لمتغير "مفتاح الصناعة" و اختيار بعض المواد الخام المهمة وهي الحديد، والألمونيوم، والزجاج، ليصل حجم العينة النهائي الي 939 وحدة. <br/> وليتم تحديد المواد التي يتم رفضها أو حظرها بشكل متكرر، تم إستخدام نموذج الإنحدار اللوجستي الثنائي. ويستخدم هذا النموذج للتنبؤ بقيمة المتغير التابع. حيث ثبت أن مادة الحديد هي أكثر مادة خام يتم رفضها، يليها الألمونيوم، ثم الزجاج. وأيضا وجدت علاقة وطيدة بين اختيار المورد وعملية قبول أو رفض المنتجات الموردة منه. وأخيرا تمت المقارنة بين هذا النموذج و نموذج Random Forest، مما أكد علي صحة النتائج. |
