Summary, etc.	seventy-five patients with idiopathic constipation, both sexes recruited from Abokhalefa hospital in Ismailia, aged from 20-40 years were randomly assigned into three groups: group A which received abdominal massage, group B which received visceral manipulation, both groups received their intervention in 4-5 weeks from 10-13 sessions each session for 20 min, three times per week and group C which received Behavioral therapy for 4-5 weeks. The outcome measures were the Constipation Severity Instrument (CSI), Constipation Assessment Scale, Bristol Stool Form Scale stool consistency, Patient Assessment of Constipation- Quality of Life (PAC-QOL) Questionnaire, and Bowel Function Index (BFI) were evaluated before and after the study. There are significant changes in patients’ quality of life in all groups. Both abdominal massage and visceral manipulation could be effective in the treatment of idiopathic constipation, noticing that visceral manipulation has priority in its effectiveness and satisfaction level.

Summary, etc.	تم تقسيم خمسة وسبعين مريضًا يعانون من الإمساك مجهول السبب، من كلا الجنسين من مستشفى أبو خليفة بالإسماعيلية، وتتراوح أعمارهم بين 20-40 عامًا، إلى ثلاث مجموعات عشوائيًا: المجموعة أ التي تلقت تدليك البطن، المجموعة ب التي تلقت علاجًا للأحشاء، تلقت كلا المجموعتين التدخل من 10 أشخاص. -13 جلسة كل جلسة لمدة 20 دقيقة، ثلاث مرات في الأسبوع والمجموعة ج التي تلقت العلاج السلوكي لمدة 4-5 أسابيع. وكانت مقاييس النتائج هي أداة شدة الإمساك (CSI)، ومقياس تقييم الإمساك، واتساق البراز على مقياس بريستول البراز، وتقييم المريض للإمساك - استبيان جودة الحياة (PAC-QOL) ومؤشر وظائف الأمعاء (BFI) قبل وبعد الدراسة ،هناك اختلاف كبير في التدخلات العلاجية في جميع الفئات على نوعية حياة المرضى. يمكن أن يكون كل من تدليك البطن والتلاعب الحشوي فعالين في علاج الإمساك مجهول <br/>
